Funeral Services for Mrs. Clara Bell McLean, 78, of Ravia, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Brother Johnny Tims officiating. Interment will follow in the Ravia Cemetery. Mrs. McLean passed away on June 3, 2016 at the Glenhaven Retirement Village in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Clara was born on July 13, 1937 in Tishomingo to Henry Black and Clara Viola (Davis) Black. She grew up and attended school here and married Billie Hugh McLean on May 2, 1955 in Madill, Oklahoma. She had worked at several jobs during her life to include, delivering newspapers, hauling hay, and working as a nurse’s aide in local nursing homes. In the last years of her life, she was a homemaker.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on August 25, 1986; a son, Billy Michael McLean, an infant son, a daughter, Kathy McLean and her brother, Sammy Black.

She is survived by her son Billy McLean and wife Marcia; four daughters, Brenda Lenard and husband Michael, Shelia Coffman and husband Jeff, Mary Pettygrew and Patricia Gibson; three sisters, Barbara Sharp, Charlene Matthews and Darlene Tyler and numerous grand, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Buddy Ray, Justin Henry, Jeff Whatley, Anthony Matthews, Jerome Matthews and Bobby Jernigan.
