John Henry Blue was born in Sacramento, California on July 30, 1944, the son of Curry Robert and Evelyn Peggy Blue. Johnny spent most of his life in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. At the age of 68, he went to join his family in the Kingdom of Heaven on January 10th, 2013.

Johnny was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked mainly in refrigeration repair but was a true “Jack of All Trades”. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved nature, being in the outdoors and time with good friends and family. He was loved and adored by many and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curry Robert Blue; his mother, Evelyn Peggy Blue; brothers, Randy Alan Blue, Everett Curry Blue and Perry Lynn (Chic) Blue; son-in-law, Jason D. Mays and grandsons, Luke Emerson and Caleb Adam Mays. He is survived by his son, Craigory Jon Blue; son-in-law and daughter, Tony and Debra Anderson; granddaughter, Hannah Mays Anderson; sisters, Nancy Anderson, Anna Moran, Louise Blue; brothers, Norman Gene Blue, Richard Davis Blue, Lester Wayne Blue, Todd R. Blue, Rodney T. Blue, Billy Blue, Pip Blue, Darrel Blue and Stoney Lee Blue; and numerous other extended family members and friends.

A memorial service for Johnny was held at 1 P.M., Tuesday, January 15th, 2013, at the Dickson Community Building.
