Henrietta [Gaddis] Brown (Class of 1967)

 

Henrietta [Gaddis] Brown (Class of 1967) Memorial Services for Mrs. Henrietta Gaddis, 66, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. at the Tishomingo High School Gymnasium with Rev. Terry Gaddis officiating, assisted by Elder Samuel Huff, Sr. and Rev. Rickey McGee. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-8 pm at the funeral home. At her request, her family selected cremation. There will be no viewing of Mrs. Gaddis.

Henrietta was born on December 31st, 1948 in Tishomingo to Esau Cheadle and Mildred Evelyn Brown. She grew up and attended school here and later married Ray Gaddis on July 8th, 1969 in Gainesville, Texas. She has been working for the Tishomingo Public School system for many years, performing many duties, mostly that of a Teacher's Aid. Henrietta was also a member of the Mount Olive Church of God in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Steven Brown.

Henrietta is survived by her husband Ray, of the home, her daughter, Christine Hudson of Ada, Oklahoma, her son, Justin Gaddis and wife Melody of Tishomingo, five grandchildren, McKenzie Hudson, Khalel Gaddis, Jeian Gaddis, Summer Gastineau and LaKeera Pool,six brothers, Earnest Brown and wife Jean of Tishomingo, Charles Brown of Ada, Stanley Brown and Hilda of Madill, Oklahoma, Marcus Brown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Billy Gunter and wife Donna of Tishomingo and Greg Brown and E. J. of Oklahoma City, three sisters, Mary Kirkland and husband Don of Oklahoma City, Sharon Blue and husband Kirk of Ada and Cynthia Gunter of Ada, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
