Funeral Services for Mr. Timothy Mark Byars, 56, of Ravia, Oklahoma will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Brother Allen Beck officiating, assisted by Brother Randy Wade. interment will follow in the Seeley Cemetery in Connerville, Oklahoma. Mr. Byars passed away on August 13, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p. m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Mark was born on January 15, 1960 in Talahina, Oklahoma to Harrison Byars and Juanita (Holden) Byars. He grew up in this area and graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1978 and attended Murray State College for a short time. He married Elaine Wagon on June 15, 1995 in Connerville, Oklahoma. Mark has worked in the transportation department for the Chickasaw Nation for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Joseph Cardinalle and Bear Byars.

Mark is survived by his wife, Elaine of the home; four sons, Harrison Byars of Tishomingo, Terry & James Byars of Ravia and Wayne Park of Tupelo, Oklahoma; two daughters, Falesha Ferrari of Ada, Oklahoma and Michelle Park Factor of Connerville; four brothers, Buck Byars and Annie of Ada, Mike Reed of Pontotoc, Michael Perkins of Tishomingo, and Daniel Cardinalle of Ada; five sisters, Linda Carter of Ada, Emma Wilson and Rick of Latta, Carol Factor and James of Tishomingo, Christie Chavez and Luther of Ravia and Michelle Byars and Pedro Saucedo of Tishomingo; grandchildren, Damien Kemp, Elijah Byars, Nikona & Gunter Ferrari, Lexi Cardinalle and Kymberlee Peden; other relatives and friends.
