Sherry Charlene (Clemmons) Derouen was born on November 2, 1957 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Edgar Lloyd Clemmons and Dorothy (Payne) Clemmons. She graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1975 and attended Murray State College and was a lifelong resident of this area. Sherry worked for the Johnston County Sheriff’s Department, the United States Post Office in Ravia and was a C.A.S.A. volunteer. She passed away on October 12th, at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore at the age of 52.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Lloyd Clemmons.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Payne) Clemmons; two sisters, Connie Clemmons and Carole Sweat, and her brother Rob Clemmons, all of Tishomingo; four nephews, three nieces, two great-nieces and five great-nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
