Graveside Services for Mr. Joe Frank Davis, 68, of Tishomingo will be held on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at 10:00 a. m. in the Tishomingo Cemetery with Brother Russell Newville officiating. Mr. Davis passed away on March 20th, at his home.

Joe was born on May 3rd, 1943 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Joseph R. Davis and Bessie Marie (Wallar) Davis. He attended Tishomingo Schools and was a lifelong resident of Johnston County. He worked first as a Deputy, then as Undersheriff for Johnston County from 1987 until 2001 when he retired. He later drove a truck for a few years. Joe was also a member of the Pontotoc Masonic Lodge #136.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Regina Davis in 2005; his sister, Ruth E. Newman in 2010 and his brother, Willie Leon Davis in 1984.

Joe is survived by his companion, Shirley Wright of the home; his daughter, K ay Davis of Tishomingo; two granddaughters, Kasey Davis and Haley Briscoe of Tishomingo and numerous other relatives.
