Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Tom “BT” Erichsen, 74, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating, assisted by Rev. Kenneth McCarthick. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mr. Erichsen passed away on October 26th, 2016 in Walsenburg, Colorado.,

BT was born on March 25, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma to George Henry Erichsen and Mary Clark Erichsen. He grew up and attended Tishomingo public schools and later Murray State College. BT was a longtime resident of Johnston County. He started his career in the 1960s working on the pipeline in South and North Dakotas. He returned to Tishomingo, working for his father-in-law before establishing his own business, Erichsen Plumbing. BT performed plumbing services all over the community before retiring in 2002. BT married Patricia Ann Hopewell Erichsen on December 31st, 1993 and lived in their current residence, north of Tishomingo since that time. BT was well known for his sense of humor, his love of the outdoors, and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Pat Erichsen; a daughter, Sheila Biggs; and a grandson, Nike Carroll.

BT is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Ross and husband Bubba of Tishomingo, Connie Harrison and husband Dr. Joe Harrison of Durant, and Wanda McClatchy and husband Colby of Sherman, TX; two sons, Barrett Alexander and wife Jenny of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Karl Biggs and Tia Campbell of Tishomingo; his grandchildren, Lindsey Jenen and husband Richard, Lauren Miller, BreeAnna Whitworth and husband Calvin, Corey Ross, Alec Shea, Connor Harrison, Asante Harrison, Emory Harrison, Hailey Alexander, Madison McClatchy, Channing Shea, Lori Ross, Aberie Shea, Carson McClatchy, Justin Ross, Waylon Alexander, Josephine Alexander and Abigail Alexander; great-grandchildren, Lee Whitworth, Mylanne Miller, Jack Jenen, Hadley Jenen and soon-to-be-born Ember Whitworth; and also Kathleen's mother, Kaye Freeman and husband Buddy.

Pallbearers will be: Kent Bruno, Sam Combs, Eddie Bond Easterling, Bryan Barnes, Harold Scates, Vernon Hurst, Carl Atteberry, and Jim Upton. Honorary Bearers will be: Sam Combs, Jr., Charlie Thomas, James Deaton, Lynn Wood, Nathan Stephens, Steve Wheeler, Charles Wood and Johnny Sneed.
