TISHOMINGO — Funeral Services for Flora Dean Warden, 81, Tishomingo, are 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at the First Methodist Church, Will Pasieczny officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Kenneth McCarthick. Burial follows at Condon Grove Cemetery, Milburn.

Mrs. Warden died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1929, in Jester, Okla., to John Wesley Goodman and Lillian Little Goodman.

She graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1947 and from Murray State College in 1949.

She married W.C. “Dub” Warden Jr. on Jan. 20, 1950, in Gainesville, Texas.

Mrs. Warden was a homemaker and lifelong resident of this area. She also was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Oct. 20, 2010; four granddaughters, Emily Ann, Clara Jane, Abigail and Kari Jo; four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include a daughter, Patti Warden and her fiance’, Jon Reubin, Tishomingo; her son, Steven Paul “Stoney” Warden and his wife Denise, Tishomingo; three granddaughters, Stephanie Nicole Warden, Sarah Denise Warden and Stevie Lynn Warden; two sisters, Thelma LaFevers, Milburn, and Bonnie Maxwell, Amarillo, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.

Bearers will be nephews. Honorary bearers will be Scotty McCarthick, Keavin Troutman and Bullard Chapel Dairymen.
