Jim David Hallmark, age 75, of Stonewall, Oklahoma passed away January 25, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Jim was born on March 5, 1938 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to James Edward and Susan Sufronia (Cooksy) Hallmark. His hometown was Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He attended school in Tishomingo and was very athletic. He was inducted into the Tishomingo High School athletic hall of fame for football, basketball, track, baseball, all district and all conference football in 1956. He also held the track record for 100 yard dash for over 50 years and he will always be a Tishomingo Indian. He married Barbara “BJ” Cunningham on August 13, 1992 in Paris, Texas. Jim worked as a dispatcher. He loved sports, fishing, hunting and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara “BJ” Hallmark of the home; children, Jacky Lynn Hallmark and wife Connie of Tishomingo, OK and Robin Renee Parks of Tulsa, OK; step-children, Tammy Barsh and husband Kimble of Norman, OK, Angela Coffman and husband Bobby of Hanahan, SC, Danny Huff of Ada, OK and Randal Moore and wife Crystal of New Caney, TX; brother, Jack E. Hallmark and his late wife Mary Lou of Oklahoma City, OK; Linda Hallmark Ainsworth and her late husband Gary; grandsons, Samuel and Elija Hallmark of Tishomingo, OK and Scott Parks of Tulsa, OK; along with 7 step-grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and many dearly and loved friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Susan Hallmark; sisters, Melba Fry Barnett Hallmark and Pauline Hallmark Wilson; brothers, Herman Hallmark, James Arlin Hallmark, Billy Joe Hallmark, Ray Hallmark.
