Graveside Services will be held for Mr. Jack E. Hallmark, 88, of Oklahoma City on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 at 1:00 p. m. at the Tishomingo Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Military Honors will be provided by The Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard. Mr. Hallmark passed away on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at his home.

Jack was born on June 10th, 1926 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to James Edward Hallmark and Susan Safrona (Cooksey) Hallmark. He grew up in Tishomingo and attended school here. He later served in the United States Army during WWII from 1944 until 1946, receiving an Honorable Discharge. Jack married Mary Lou Moody on November 5th, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas and she preceded him in death in 2013. He retired from the MPI Company in Oklahoma City where he worked as a Materials Handler. He was very crafty and loved making rockers out of clothes pins and distributing them to almost everyone he came in contact with. It gave him great joy to share them. Jack was a man of few words, but very dedicated to his family.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Jackie Hallmark and Ron Hallmark, five brothers, Arlin, Herman, Jim, Joe, and Elbert "Runt" Hallmark and two sisters, Melba Barnett and Pauline Wilson.

Jack is survived by his son, Mickey Hallmark and his daughter, Brenda Olsen, both of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren, Melissa Crabtree, Matt Olsen, Todd Hallmark, Justin Olsen and Breanne Olsen, five great-grandchildren, Jackson Olsen, Marshall Olsen, Jayden Lockett, Connor Olsen and Savannah Hallmark and his sister, Linda Ainsworth.Obituary Texts goes here
