Steven Paul "Steve" Harris, 53, of Calera, OK left this life too soon on Monday, October 12th, 2015 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on January 1, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida to Frank and Jan Harris. He married the love of his life, Gina Anderson, in Denison, TX on February 2nd, 2007.

Steve graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1981, where he was an all-state football player. He graduated from Murray State College in 1998 with an Associate Degree in Nursing and then graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Health Administration. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Tishomingo. Steve was a free spirit, who never stopped smiling. He was known for his sense of humor and wonderful, outgoing personality. Steve was passionate about music and guitars as well as caring for and helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Jan Harris.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Gina; son, Steven Harris of Ada, OK; daughter, Ashley Harris and significant other Jason Sewell of Bells, TX; daughter, Lauren Harris and significant other Brantley Vaughn of Ada, OK; stepdaughter, Whitney Malott and husband Keith of Calera, OK; stepson, Tanner Anderson and wife Kaelin of Calera, OK. His grandchildren include Blakelyn and Kendall Pamplin of Bells, TX; Hunter Harris and Jagger Vaughn of Ada, OK; Maddox and Benson Anderson of Calera, OK; Adley and Briley Malott of Calera, OK. Mr. Harris is also survived by his father, Frank Harris of Holdenville, OK; brother, John Harris and wife Drenda of Healdton, OK; sister, Annette Freeman and husband Kenny of Tyler, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Tishomingo, OK. Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Service, Tishomingo.
