Graveside Services for Mr. Tommy Keel, 66, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 1:00 p. m. at the Fillmore Cemetery in the Fillmore, Oklahoma with Brother Randy Wade officiating. Military Honors will be provided by The Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard. A wake service will be held on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 p. m. at the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo. Mr. Keel passed away on June 23, 2016 at his home. Tommy was born on November 28, 1949 in Fillmore to Edmond Freeman Keel and Hilda Bessie (Murphy) Keel. He graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1968 and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. Tommy worked many years as a stone mason and electrician until ill health required that he retire. He was very proud of his Chickasaw heritage. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Hattie Chastain and Ilene Davis; and two brothers, J. B. Keel and Jerry Keel. Tommy is survived by his daughter, Buffy Way and husband Danny and their children, Paige, Jaide and Blane, all of Wilson, Oklahoma; four brothers, Don Keel of Tishomingo; Jefferson Keel and wife Carol of Sulphur, Oklahoma; Dale Keel and wife Kathy of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Danny Keel of Paducah, Kentucky; three sisters, Kathy Bethune of Ada, Oklahoma, Virginia Sherwood and husband Jess of Madill, Oklahoma and Marie Miller of Velma, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
