Kingston, OK Age 83 February 12, 2014 Private Services will be held for Mrs. Betty L. (Maynard) Lyne, 83, of the McBride Community, near Kingston, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lyne passed away on February 12th, 2014 at her home. Betty was born on May 13th, 1930 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Ralph S. Maynard and Jessie Edith (Smith) Maynard. She grew and attended school in Tishomingo, Beggs, Oklahoma and Oklahoma City, where she graduated from Northeast High School. She married J. A. "Pete" Lyne on March 5th, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They lived in Oklahoma City for many years and Betty worked as the secretary to the President of Wilson Food Company. They moved to the McBride Community approximately 20 years ago.
