Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty June (Morrow) Murray, 74, of Tishomingo will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma. Mrs. Murray passed away on February 27th, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.

Betty June was born on May 13th, 1936 in Tishomingo to Robert Thomas Morrow and Mary Belle Marshall Morrow. She attended Tishomingo Schools later graduating from Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant with a double major in Business and Elementary Education. She taught school for a few years and worked many years as a Social Worker of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Virginia Bracken.

Betty June is survived by her son, Alan Murray & his wife Donna of Tishomingo; her daughters, Carla Lee Waggoner of Dallas, Texas and Susan White & her husband Jimmy of Coleman; her mother, Mary Belle Morrow of Tishomingo; two brothers, Tom Morrow &his wife Frances and Bill Morrow &his wife Judy, all of Tishomingo; her grandchildren, Andrea Waggoner Strava &her husband Ryan, Justin Murray &his wife Stephanie, Courtney White Bowen &her husband Dustin, Catherine White Wolf, Colby Murray, Lauren Thompson Mitchell &her husband Brandon, Kelci Smith and Karli June Murray; great-grandchildren, Alexis Murray, Caden Joe Murray, Ashlynn Callen, Molly Wolf and Emma Mitchell; other relatives and friends.
