Raymond James Nance, age 72, passed away on February 21, 2013, in Midwest City after a lengthy illness. Raymond was born on January 23, 1941, in Tishomingo, OK to Robert L. and Christine Fuller Nance. In 1959, he graduated from Tishomingo High School. After high school, he briefly attended the University of Oklahoma. Raymond was a longtime civil servant at Tinker Air Force Base and retired from there in 2002. Raymond was an avid Oklahoma Sooner football fan and loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle that he rode all over the country. Some of his favorite times were spent in Sturgis, SD at the motorcycle rally there. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Lewis Nance. He is survived by his wife, Debra Nance. He has three children: James Nance and wife Kay, of Lubbock, TX; Alice Nance, of Moore, OK; and Randy Nance, of Shawnee, OK. Raymond has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
