Arbery Dale Norris (Class of 1971)
Tishomingo, OK Age 60 May 13, 2013 A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. in the Pennington Creek Park in Tishomingo, Oklahoma for Mr. Dale Norris, 60, of Tishomingo. Mr. Norris passed away on May 13th, 2013 at his home. Dale was born on February 23rd, 1953 in Durant, Oklahoma to Arbery Norris and Edith (Goza) Norris. He graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1971 and later attended Murray State College. He served in the United States Marine Coprs during the Vietnam Conflict, being honorably discharged. He married Beki Jean Bowen in 1977 in Tishomingo. Dale worked in the oilfield for many years and as a equipment finisher for Sundowner Trailers in Coleman, Oklahoma from which he retired, due to ill health. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Reindell. Dale is survived by his wife Beki Jean Norris; eight children, Christina Allen, Jerry Norris, Harvey Norrs, Nathan Norris, Alisha Norris, Joshua Norris, Michael Norris and Joseph Norris; four grandchildren, Lane and Hannah Allen, and David and Lukus Norris; four brothers, Gene and Larry Cripps, Harvey Norris and Johnny Reinhart; three sisters, Sue McCracken, Laura Hamilton, and Brenda Birdsong; other relatives and friends. |
