Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Clemmons, 77, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel with Brother Ricky Cobble officiating. Interment will follow in the Troy Cemetery. Mrs. Clemmons passed away Monday, March 16th, 2015 at her home.

Dorothy was born on October 31st, 1937 in Tishomingo to Roy Armstrong Payne and Mary Etta (Jarman) Payne. She graduated from Tishomingo High School and later Murray State College. Mrs. Clemmons worked for several years as a Purchasing Agent in the Payroll Department in the Banking industry in Oklahoma City and later spent many years in the Convenience Store business in Tishomingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sherry Charlene Derouen, two brothers, Lloyd Payne and J. C. Payne and her sister, Valgean Sellers.

Mrs. Clemmons is survived by two daughters, Carole Joan Sweat and Connie Kay Clemmons, her son, Roy Robert "Rob" Clemmons, all of Tishomingo, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
