John Lewis Underwood (Class of 1972)
Purcell, OK Age 57 May 15, 2012 Graveside Services for Mr. John Lewis Underwood, 57, of Purcell, Oklahoma will be held on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 at 2:00 p. m. at the Tishomingo Cemetery with Pastor Bill Blair officiating. Mr. Underwood passed away on May 11th, at his home. John was born on August 2nd, 1954 in Madill, Oklahoma to Chisholm Underwood and Ruby Mae (Seeley) Underwood. He graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1972 and married Nadine Fleming in May of 1973. John worked for many years as a commercial truck driver until his health required that he retire. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Teresa Hart in 2006.
John is survived by his mother, Ruby Mae Anderson of Tishomingo; his
daughter, Sarah Crawford of Noble, Oklahoma; his son, Brian Underwood of
Purcell; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and other relatives
and friends.
