Graveside Services for Mrs. Doris Elaine Bell, 68, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, March 17th, 2012 at 11:00 a. m. in the Tishomingo Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Mrs. Bell passed away on Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Doris was born on January 9th, 1944 in Borger, Texas to I. E. Upton and Lila Faye (Rowe) Upton. She graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1961 and lived in Ardmore and Konawa in Oklahoma and a short time in New Mexico before returning to Johnston County in 1990. She worked for a few years in the Customer Service Department of The Bank of Southern Oklahoma, now Landmark Bank in Tishomingo. Doris married Dr. E. S. Bell on October 18th, 1994 in Arkansas and he survives of the home.

She is also survived by her daugher, Gayla Cellum and her husband Steve, her son, Paul Gilbert and his wife Crys, all of Tishomingo; her grandson, Justin Cellum and his wife Tori of Lawton, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Brittany Gilbrt and Daria Gilbert, both of Tishomingo; two brothers, Jim Upton and his wife Sherry of Tishomingo and Bob Upton and his wife Gwen of Portales, New Mexico; also, her step-son, Dr. Patrick Bell of Edmond, Oklahoma.
