Donald Wayne "Donnie" Walker (Class of 1964) Tishomingo, OK Age 62 September 3, 2009 Donnie was born on September 12, 1946, to Thurman Thomas and Julia Standridge (Wright) Walker at Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He attended and graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1964. He also attended Murray State College and Drumwight Vo-Tech and recieved his CDL Certification and was also Cleet Certified. Donnie married Oma Dell Loyd on August 2, 1969 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Donnie was currently serving as reserve deputy for the Johnston Co. Sheriff's office. He owned and operated the Walker Mortuary Transportation Service. He drove a truck for Joe Brown Company and was Johnston County Civil Defense Director for several years. Walker Septic Tanks was a family business. Donnie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Tishomingo. He was also a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge #91 and the Past President of the Lions Club. Donnie enjoyed watching and chasing grandkids, working law enforcement, helping with Upward Soccor Concession Stand and Reacing Out. |
