Rowe  opened a law firm in Tishomingo in 2001, and he has also been serving as a judge in the Chickasaw Nation court system. From 2005 to 2011 he served as a special judge before becoming a district judge.

Dustin Rowe was sworn in as a Court Justice to the Oklahoma Supreme Court on February 24, 2020. He served as a Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. He is a former City Attorney and one-time city councilman and mayor of Tishomingo.
